bye bye Megan Joy

Alex and I LOVE American Idol. We watch it and sing along to it without shame. As of last night my original favorite of the season has been given the boot. Megan Joy was just so very very likable! She’s super cute, is from Utah and appears to be non-crazy, has a tattoo sleeve down her entire right arm, and is a font designer. I mean c’mon…likability points abound! She also sang with this great jazzy vibe and was comparable to some of my fav artists. Namely Adele, Duffy, Amy Winehouse, and Joss Stone…ya know all those amazing blue eyed soul chicks from the UK!

She even squawked like a bird last night when she was in the bottom three and “flew” over to the bottom three stool area with arms flapping. It was magnificent and so totally awkward at the same time!
