A few wall decals never hurt anyone.

Alex and I decided to spice up our already bold color walls with some wall decals we found on whatisblik.com. We decided on the gears for the finished garage and these lily pad thingies for the office.

We both love the whimsy they bring to our home and how they remind us of ponds and factories. My two favorite things. Please excuse me, it’s almost my bedtime.

definitely, I’m trying to restrain myself from putting them all over the house. less is more.

i love the color! i used to have a bathroom that color, then we moved, and the new girl painted it red…

it looks good, but it still isn’t the same!

anyways, i do have a blog. i’m not very faithful at writing in it, but i am trying. it was so much easier in college when i was avoiding writing papers!

Looks lovely, dearest :) I’m gonna have to get the details from you on how easy those puppies are to apply.

Were they easy to apply? And how did you decide which ones to get?

lauren: new girls ruin everything :-)

alec: these puppies are supposed to be super easy to apply…we just like to make things hard on ourselves and not read the directions first. so the one in the office that has all the little holes in it was a biotch and half to appy! but then when we figured out the right way….easy peasy!

monika: thanks girl! they’re actually two different hues of blue…but you can’t tell with the pictures.

becky: they’re easy to apply, but like i said above. do yourself a favor and read the directions. we really just picked the ones we thought would look best in our home. the site that i linked to has a huge gallery of already applied graphics that make it easier to visualize their array of products.
