Just about done…

Pretty much all Alex and I can think about lately is the new house! We close on the 19th, time has really flown by, as well as the building process! We’re all amazed with how quick they worked.

This Friday Alex and I meet with the builder for the final walk through where we’ll point out all the imperfections that we want fixed before moving in. They’ll also show us how to work all the appliances in the kitchen as well as the digital sprinkler system!

Once we close we’re going to have a glass tile backsplash installed as well as the laminate floors my uncle gave us as a housewarming gift! We also plan on painting the entire house our own custom colors before we move in any furniture!

It’s a good thing we have our lease at the apartment through the entire month of December so we can complete all these renovations…and move our stuff in little by little!

Since we have the standard carpet and vinyl flooring in the house right now we’ll probably just donate it to a cause like Habitat for Humanity or see if we can sell it on craigslist.com! I swear we’re the only people that do renovations to a brand new house!
